ChargeVerity does not infer compatibility from connector shape alone. Each answer is an explicit relationship between a vehicle, model year, charger, adapter, and official evidence.

Source priority

We prioritize vehicle manufacturer documentation, charging-network documentation, SAE standards material, and U.S. Department of Energy / AFDC references. Community discussions help surface questions, but are not the only source for a compatibility result.

Why model year matters

Charging ports, adapter programs, and software support can change between model years or trims. The model year is part of the vehicle identity.
